About us

From surplus food to shared impact

FOODNIX and LOOP exist to reduce food waste, inspire change and build a sustainable food culture rooted in circular economy thinking.

Good food belongs on plates, not in bins.

Our story

LOOP was created to turn food surplus into something useful, visible and valuable.

The LOOP surplus food store sells excess products from the food industry, retail and events. We want to inspire customers, partners and communities to reduce food waste as part of climate action and biodiversity protection.

The operation is run by a non-profit association. Any profit generated is channelled into projects that promote a more sustainable food culture and practical circular economy solutions.

The first LOOP concept focused on rescuing edible surplus from local supply chains.

Partnerships expanded to events, retailers and industry actors.

Food waste reduction became a shared movement for communities and partners.

We contribute to society by making responsible choices easier, more visible and more desirable.

Reduce food waste through practical action.

A circular food system where edible food is never lost.

Non-profit operations with community impact.
